Poker has taken the world by storm in the past decade.  It has quickly become the world’s most popular casino game.  Poker’s history, especially Texas Hold ‘Em, is an amazing story.  The game’s simple rules make it easy for beginners to quickly pick up but its inner complexities is what makes it a true game of skill.  There are numerous poker videos available online to teach everything from beginner to advanced tactics. The game of No Limit Hold ‘Em is a fascinating one.  The basic rules are simple enough so that all players can play. Each player receives two face-down cards and must make a poker hand with the five community cards that are shown over four rounds of betting.  The complexity of poker comes from its theory.  The no-limit aspect of the game allow players to implement creative bet-sizes.  Also, players only have small pieces of information to judge their opponents’ hand.  Players may see the community cards that their opponents are using.  In contrast, other poker variants do not show any of their opponents’ cards.  Incomplete information means players must be observant to poker tells, stack sizes, and bet sizes to be able to get an idea of their opponents’ holdings.
